I have been exporting movies from FCP by going to Export Quicktime Conversion, and then picking MP4 for Youtube. This has been working beautifully for the last year or so, but all the sudden, in the last week, I’ll do this exact same process and my movies have errant frames in them. I’ll find one frame from the previous clip smack dab in the center of the next clip. This is not on the timeline, and doesn’t happen when it’s played in FCP. It is happening everytime I export something for Youtube. Can anyone help me understand why this is happening and how to fix it?

    Thanks.

I’m no youtube expert but I understand they are undergoing some big changes over there on how they re-format material you send in. There is a new update on the kenstone site that addresses some of these new changes. If you haven’t seen it here’s the link:

I get the same random frames while exporting to H.264 from FCP.
I have OSC 10.5.4 on a new 8 Core with 16 g of ram running the latest FCP software.
I tried purging all the render files and trashed the prefs.
