    Flash exported to AVI won’t play

    Exported a short (1 1/2 minute) piece out of Flash as an uncompressed AVI, 16 bit color, 44.1 16 bit audio (audio will be stripped away and re-recorded anyway). Bringing it into Vegas as an AVI gives me the audio and only the first frame of the video, this frame being stretched out to the length of audio track. The AVI file plays great in WMP, but won’t come into Vegas. Anyone know why this would be?

    go back to flash and export with Flash player 5 settings. I think that’s it. Otherwise it may be a codec issue.

    That was the first thing I tried but to no avail. I’ll do some research into the codec possibility.
