Flash Export Plug-in?
I know AFX ships with a Flash Export feature, but it renders out the equivalent of a gigantic EPS sequence.
Does anyone know if there is a more sophisticated Flash Exporter than gets closer to the Flash scene file (in the way for instance Toon Boom Studio exports a “proper” Flash scene?)

It really depends on the type of effects / filters you are using. In general, anything non vector based will render as full image frames and you basically would almost be better of with a flash movie.

Hmm … do you want:
1) a relatively small SWF file or
2) an FLA file?1) to make a small SWF file you need to make sure your comp only uses “supported features”, as outlined in the Help … but I think you knew that.
2) AE can’t make FLA files, plugin or not.Does that cover it?
