I’ve always had success in converting a .mov file to .flv with Adobe Media Encoder… I export from FCP to Compressor to crop to a desired size, then convert the file in Adobe Media Encoder. Although the .mov file is fine, upon conversion the .flv video is fine but the audio stops after about 10 seconds. I’ve never come across this before.

I work on a MacBook Pro, Snow Leopard. Adobe Media Encoder CS4. I didn’t have this problem before I converted to Snow Leopard. Is this is OS problem?

    Thanks.

It seems the problem is with Adobe and may well be OS if that is all that has changed. Did Adobe do an update for Snow Leopard?

Might be worth posting this question on the various Adobe forums

Thanks… I discovered other incompatibilities between Adobe Media Encoder and Snow Leopard, so I downloaded another video converter, iSkysoft, and it worked like a charm, and at least 4 times faster.
