    Hello guys,

I am new to the forums and also new to using Motion, which seems like a complete headache, I have a project at the moment where in a promotional movie I need a logo and any on screen text to appear flaming around the edges or on fire.

Does anybody know an easy route to doing this or a link to any helpful tutorials?

Any help guys and gals is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your time.

    All the best,

    Timmy

Look at the Corona particle emitter as a starting point.

Hey Peter I am trying but I just cannot get the emitter to latch on to the outline of the logo, I have logo as a png from photoshop any ideas on the work flow I should be following and the sort of spec for the logo?

Thanks man, thought I was totally alone on this one!

Peter was right on recommending the Corona emitter. I think the key is replacing the Shape=circle to Shape=Geometry… then treat your logo as a shape (or shapes) instead of text. Your shapes can be invisible, so you may just trace around your text… and conform your emitter to take on the shape.
