Hi,

I’m Using the Turbulent Displace filter in after Effects to make an image appear as though it’s a blowing flag. Does anyone know a way that i can have the flag get shadows when it bends in a certain direction? Any help would be appreciated

you can create the shadows with fractal noise.Have a look at this 2 tutorials (Example 2+28)
