  • Fixing the “Adobe CS6 Service Manager has stopped working” error…

Posted by Brent Kingi on February 15, 2013 at 12:18 am

I’ve been getting this error message on start-up and during the use of Adobe applications:

So after finding no good solution anywhere on the internet, and because I was sick and tired of being bombarded by this annoying message, I just went directly to the file responsible for this, CS6ServiceManager.exe, and deleted it:

Since then, I have had no problems with the error message, it has gone… for good I hope. If you have the same problem, this is a solution you could implement at your discretion.

Funny that you got this to work. I tried it and I still get the error message. Not sure which is the greater mystery: how you got it to work or why I can’t.
