First time filmmaker, captured some bad audio and am trying to make it appear more professional to the untrained ear. To all the audio mixing professionals out there, can you recommend any effects/filters I can do in post using Adobe Premiere Pro CC to take the static out?

Here’s a link to an audio sample: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3q-EErH9WnmTlhRdko2bnliUUU/edit?usp=sharing

Mic is an Azden SMX-10, recorded on a Tascam DR-40 if that’s at all relevant.

Any pointers anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated. This sample was already run through some medium compression and lowpass.

De noisier in izotope rx will learn that background element and remove it, but not in pp.
You’ll need to be in an audio app or se it in stand alone mode and import the result
