I have a timeline with footage from all sorts of places. I am trying to get it to look right in DVD. It seems the only thing that works is to export to DVD direct from PP2. If I render out a .AVI with interlace and import into encore, some shots look really jerky when it goes to DVD, as though the interlace was not interpreted correctly on some footage. Is there a way to fix this? I don’t understand why it would get it right when going direct to DVD, but mess it up going to a file and then to DVD.

If you can identify the jerky shots, then make a list of them from your DVD times (Assuming you only have one chapter), then go back to Premiere, right click on the clips choose field options, and choose reverse field dominance.
