‘Fixing’ audio in Avid…?
I’m fairly new to avid and am using Avid …not sure which version.
I’m working on a short video and am not sure of my options when it comes to adjusting audio/eq and such. The room that we shot in was big and gave off a some big reverb. We were able to get a decent sound by keeping the mic close, but there are a few shots where the mic had to be further away by a foot or two and the sound just doesn’t match because it has more reverb in it.
I know that audio is hard to ‘fix’, but what do I play around with to try to get it to sound better or minimize the reverb? I saw there was ‘audio eq’ tool…but it didn’t seem to help much. Is that pretty much it? Or are there others things in the programs that I can try out?
