  • Fixing A Corrupted MOV File???

So I work in weddings, we shoot on Canon 5DmkII and we had a CF card fritz out. The files were complete on the card, but when they were transfered only a few of them transfered completely and the rest wouldn’t play at all. The files have size so there’s information there, it’s just not complete. Unfortunately the original data was deleted off the card so now all I have are the corrupted mov files.
I have updated my quicktime, tried using several different compression softwares to open or convert it including VLC. I’ve also put it through a few different software recovery tools (Remo, Recuva) and the result from those is always a statement that the recovery was a success, but when I go to play the recovered clip it’s just black. Any suggestions?
