I was editing in FCP 5 and used open editor to switch to Soundtrack Pro. I reduced noise in Soundtrack Pro, closed it and finisished editing in FCP and closed it too. When I returned to the project some time later, the media from the project was offline. when I tried to correct it, It wouldn’t . when I tried to open the source media in the capture file, I got an error reading from quicktime (could not parse -2048). I have since downloaded all the updates from Apple for Soundtrack, FCP, etc last wednesday. However, I have still not been able to open the capture file. The media is HD and I do not own a deck.

can anyone help me fix this problem so I can open the document

    Please
