    Hello folks,

I have a problem with some footage that I’m hoping there’s a (mythical) magic fix button for.

I filmed some footage in a lecture theatre during a presentation. I noticed a little intereference in the monitor but didn’t think too much of it at the time. However, on importing the footage into Media Composer (3.0.5) I found the intereference is quite prominent. There are horizontal bands scrolling vertically up across the picture, just like a tv monitor because, just like a tv monitor, the projector was scanning at a different rate from the camera’s shutter speed. Unfortunately, the bounce from the projector screen is such that all the footage of the audience is also effected by this.

So if anyone happens to know a way of fixing this effect, I’d would be most appreciative.
