I have a timeline in premiere that is about 1:45. When i enecoded to mpeg2 for DVD, i used the presets. Import into Encore and it’s too big to fit on disc. It came out to about 6 gigs. (I cant remeber exactly) Another porgram that I have used, MyDVD allows you to sort of “fit to disc” by changing a setting from high quality(1 hr length) to standard play (2 hr length). Does Encore have anything like this? Thanks

Export to AVI instead of MPEG-2, then import that into Encore, which will then fit it to disc.

Click the imported file (A/V) and set transcoding settings to automatic. Encore will do the rest.
File>transcoding>transcoding settings>automatic. Also expanding the project window you can set this to automatic.
