Fisheye camera settings

February 23, 2007 at 9:03 pmthe cc lens effect will create distortion similar to what you’d see with a fisheye lens, if you want to just distort existing footage or a comp.
i would think that creating a 3d cam with a wide angle (15mm or less) should create a fairly good fisheye like lens look if you have created a 3d scene in ae.

February 23, 2007 at 10:58 pmYar, but AE’s camera has no barrel distortion. You would need to process the view form the camera after it’s been grabbed. There might be a way to nest the camera output into a downstream comp. Never seen it done but there was talk earlier of doing “live on-stage cameras to projection monitors.”
