    First timer with ProRes in CS6 PP

    I have a project coming up where I will need to take ProRes files off a hard drive and transfer them into my PP CS6 system (windows 7).

    Since I haven’t handled ProRes before – is it simply transferring the contents of the hard drive containing the pro res footage onto my editing hard drive. Then Drag and drop clips into my timeline so I can start editing?

    Or what workflow do I have to go through to be able to drop pro res clips onto my PP timeline for editing?

    Yes. Pro Res are self contained individual files.
