    Some one had asked if I could post my progress of simulating an army. This is a very rough test using a still picture that I found on the net. The army is very small due to the perspective of the pic, but if you could zoom in you would see that they are individual soldiers.

    My next version will be with HD video and instead of a still shot of soldiers I will use video of soldiers. Here is the file.

    Sorry I didn’t realize how crappy that looks when it’s so small. The zoom in takes away from the subtle movements of the microdot soldiers. I originally used HD resolution so it looks a lot better that way. Hopefully the next test will be a better representation.

    I would suggest adding some shadows so it looks a bit more 3D. Try adding a bit more random wiggle on the X-axis so it looks a bit more organic.
