I just noticed something in the DVD’s that Encore make about first play. I can put a disk in for the first time and it will play the first play and if you want to override it to main menu, it will do that. I want my logo intro to play the first time they put it in and I do not want anyway to have it fast forwarded, can Encore do that and if so, how is it done.

u need to disable the the specific UOP of your first-play track.

I would strongly recogment to start with a track instead of going straight to your menu – will keep the players resume-buffer happy!

    cheers

Yes, do not use any “overrides”.

In the Properties panel of the timeline for your logo intro, you will see a line that says “Operations: All Permitted” with a button to the right that says “Set…”. You will want to click on ‘Set’, then click on “None”, then “OK”. This will prevent the user from being able to do anything while the logo is playing. These settings will only work for DVD, as the last time we tried setting them for a Blu-ray it resulted in error messages during the build process.
