    Hey guys.

Ok, so im mainly a Cinema4D guy, and the way we can animate cameras in there is by viewing through it, using the mouse to rotate/pan etc ..pretty much the new Orbit Camera tool, only fully functional.

Pretty much this animating it with coordinates and clicking and dragging is killing me! Not to mention my graphics card isnt so up to date, so its giving me one heck of a time to complete a simple task.

Is there anyway to first person drive the camera in AE yet? If so, how?

    Thanks in advance.

If you cycle through the camera tools with the ‘c’ key you get separate dolly, orbit and track tools. You just need to remember to set keyframes where you want them, and depending on your goal you’ll want to use different spatial/temporal interpolation with a smattering of roving keyframes =)

If any of this seems foreign to you I’d recommend looking at the AE help file (F1).

Also, you need to have an active Camera in the composition, the Camera Tools don’t work with the default 3D view.
