    I just burned my first DVD since I upgraded to Final Cut Studio 2. The graphics look terrible when I play them back on an NTSC monitor. I am using the exact same setting that I always have, but I’ve never had this problem.

    I am exporting out of final cut to a reference quicktime file. I then encode that at 6.5MBS CBR.

    Any ideas?

    A little more info…

    It’s a video that has a lot of text. Footage is DV. Text came from Photoshop. The video looks okay, but there is a lot of pixilation in and around all of the text.

    Set your timeline to ProRes, render, export and encode in Compressor.
