    Hi Guys,
Two brief questions regarding Fireworks. This is a cross post from the ‘Dreamweaver’ forum.

    1. When exporting images & HTML from Fireworks, Fireworks exports an image file of every slice for EVERY ‘state’?? Is this correct? In other words wether a slice is modified for any of those ‘states’ or not an image is created. ie 12 states = 12 images of a slice that doesn’t change in any state?

    2. Is it possible to make a visual change to a page and apply that change to all ‘states’? For example if we wanted to nudge our header graphic screen right 10px technically once positioned it doesn’t change further in any of the ‘states’ however presently we are having to go into each ‘state’ individually and make the change for every ‘state’.

    All thoughts most appreciated.

    Regards,

    j

Fireworks export your page as a table with an image on each table cell. When you define a button, then you have different states for that, and Fireworks export the appropiate code for the button to work (links, change state, etc).

If you change your page, well, you mess with the table so you usually need to export the whole stuff again.

Or open your exported images and change them one by one.

    I hope this helps
