It seems to me like I had this problem once. I think I fixed it by installing the Mac P2 drivers from Panasonic’s website.

    https://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=93120&catGroupId=14569&surfModel=AG-HVX200&displayTab=R

It the link doesn’t work, just find the HVX200 on the website and click on “support and resources.” Then choose the second blue link on the right.

Let me know if it works or if I’m just imagining that I had this problem once.

    Good luck!

    Hi Russ,

I download the drivers and still cannot see media in the import P2 viewer. While I was the office I hooked up the P2 Store and all the media was in the P2 viewer in FCP.

I switched out firewire cables and still no luck. I’m lose.

This may seem silly but make sure the camera is set to VTR mode instead of camera mode.

Thanks to all. I find the problem. You need to be in 1394 device not host, plus you must hit the button for MCR/ VCR Twice. After the first push you hold it in until it connects. Then your No Name will come up on your destop.

Thanks again Omega Broadcast for your help.
