    Hi all i have a Mac G4 10.4 with Firewire ads pci 64which is not showing up on mac g4. I put the card correctly in PCI slot #2.
    When I try to use firewire device nothing shows. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Douse the card show up in system profiler. If Not.

    Exactly which model computer do you have and what brand and model card did you put in it?

    Yes in system profile it shows a fire wire card under PCI slot#2. I have a Mac G4 1.25 dual, 1 and half gig ram runn ing 10.4.10 I really need help im in the middle of projects and no firewire.

    You did not answer all the questions I asked. What is the make and model of the fire wire card, it is possible that it is not compatible with macs or with your model of mac.

    The card is a ADS tech Pyro PCI 64 which is Mac compatible. My macis a G4 1.25 dual on 10,4.10 1 and half gig ram.

    My best guess is that the drivers are not compatible with the updated OS, try the manufactures web site and see if there is a newer driver.
