Firewire hubs
Hi there,
I need to buy a firewire hub for my new macbook pro. I wanted to get a Belkin but it seems they are not available in the UK at the moment. Does anybody know if Lindy are OK, or maybe recommend any others.
I am using the computer for FCP editing, and need to connect a couple of drives.

I’d be looking at an express card which adds another FW bus to your Macbook Pro if you have that slot…

does it really add a second firewire bus?
I was always under the impression it was the same bus that the firewire socket was connected to and that it just allowed extra connections to that bus.
either way, the expresscard is definitely worth having!
