The only way I can listen to my capture HDV FCP media clips is through the “built-in audio” port. When I use my M-Audio Firewire 410 port (which works with all my other applications i.e iTunes, Logic etc) I get choppy audio which causes my timeline to stop.
I have my firewire 410 settings set for 48 Hz 16 bit….but when I view the FCP A/V settings…..the Option tab beside the audio shows my firewire 410 device as 48Hz 24 bit depth 10 channel and I’m unable to change them from this setting. Could this be the reason for my audio glitching problem, when I try to use the Firewire 410 as my audio output?
