Firewire 400-800 adapters
Hello folks,
I’m planning on purchasing a MacBook pro for home and want to know if anyone has had luck and/or problems using firewire 400 devices with an adapter to the single Firewire 800 port. I’m wondering if I should rethink my decision since I currently capture SD video through a Canopus ADVC-110, which only has a FW400 port. Thoughts? Opinions?Ed

Adapters should work fine. Or there are also 400 to 800 Cables there, you can also get 4pin to 800 cables.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.
