Firestore import issues
Posted by Dan Blackwood on August 3, 2011 at 12:50 pmThe video from teh FS5 looks great on interviews, but if there is any motion whatsoever, the edges are jagged up, like the fields don’t match or something. Is there a setting I can change to fix this?

August 3, 2011 at 1:11 pmDid you transcode the FS5’s media to ProRes before you edited? If not try that.

August 3, 2011 at 3:54 pmI will check both things. No, I did not use Pro Res 422, and I am not sure of the field order. Thanks.

August 3, 2011 at 6:40 pmHouston, you have a problem… the AVCHD files should be prores instead. How did you import them?

August 3, 2011 at 6:47 pmFirst, I imported them using File>Import. Then I imported by XML, using auto for the settings, then tried ProRes 422. Same result all three times.

August 3, 2011 at 7:09 pmYou brought the AVCHD files in as ProRes files with the Log and Transfer tool?
