Firestore fixed?

October 26, 2006 at 10:57 pmIs there still the issue with the Firestore losing frames between partitions when you prep for P2 and import into FCP? I know it was an issue not TOO long ago. I am just curious if it has been addressed yet.

October 26, 2006 at 11:48 pmAll’s well there Shane. Thing seems to be maturing just fine and with the Cineporter looking more and more like vapor, thank god! Just put it throught the paces over the weekend and was very happy.

October 29, 2006 at 3:43 amWhy do you say the cineporter looks like vapor?
Reports on DVX User by the company imply it is very close. -

October 29, 2006 at 3:58 amI hope so. Been watching things at Spec Com for a while. A great guy running the company. I’ve just been hoping and having to put my excitment on hold while component deliveries keep pushing it back. Sure needed it as the Firestore caused us a lot of grief that we’re still trying to cut around, but it works well now. Learned that until I have it in a Pelican case heading to location it’s vapor to me. Sorry for any confusion. Still pulling for them too hit a home run with it.

October 30, 2006 at 3:45 amYes, it is true Mitch. I saw it in a corporate statement on their website and also got the 720PN support info from a tech support contact.
