Firestore 100 not loading into Final Cut 6
I just upgraded to FC6. Unfortunately using the new log and transfer tool does not work with my firestore 100. It ingest the files but does not creat quicktime files. I have not yet updated my drivers on my firestore 100 to the latest ones, will that help?

It might help, because I’ve been taking material off a Firestore in FCP 6 and it’s working fine. Not sure of the software version, but it does work.
Make sure you’re following the correct procedure, as there is a “organize P2” that needs to be done on the drive before connecting to the computer.

Thanks, I did that correctly. It goes to ingest, but does not convert file into quicktimes. I downloaded the latest operating system and it did not help. I have ordered the very latested version on CD, but don’t think this will solve the problem. The files shoot on P2 loaded without an issue. Also the previous version worked fine when you import P2 files.
