Fire Wire Problem
Dear all,
i am becoming crazy in using fw port.
Am am using a sony camcoder 270 and hvr-m15 and I am working in HDV 1080i50When I connect both the camcoder and hdvplayer to fw800 or fw400 of my mac pro all is working fine.
When I connect both the camcoder and hdvplayer to fw400 (is the only available on this machine), using iMovie it works, using fcp pro 7 I returna the message indicating no device conncted (I have tried in setup basic firewire, firewire 48Kz).
If I setup the player hvr-m15 on 1080i60 instead of 1080i50 fcp recognizes the device (the controls are working) but no images are aqcuired (the cassette are in 1080i50).
Some suggestion?

Only connect the deck or camera. Not both.
