Fire Trail
I am doing a project for school and am trying to create a fire trail from behind a car for a closing shot. Kind of like in Back to the Future. I have access to the entire final cut studio but am still a novice in most areas. The simpler the solution the better please. Thank you.

Sounds like something you could do with Apple Motion in your FCP suite, tracking a point in back of car and attaching particles to that. There is an Apple Motion forum at the cow.
