Fire Revealing Text Below in After Effects
Hi, is there any tutorial out there that can illustrate how to have fire, reveal text below, but that fire has to be in the shape of the text at first, but not exactly the shape.
Example, the Thrasher Skateboard opening title logo fire text reveal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwjDGbcTnAw
I assume you start of with creating the text> cc burn film transition > start key at 100% then go to the desired length of the clip, and key at 0%.
Then Im lost. How can i replicate this video opening title?

However, the sample clip you’ve included appears to have been made mostly manually with a bunch of separate pieces of flame footage keyed out, placed and animated. CC Burn Film could be used, but to get it looking convincing, you’re better off with animated masks that align with fire footage.
