    I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the best way to create fire. Im not necesarily looking for the most real-looking fire. Really im looking for the least cheesy. Any insight is appreciated!!

    try either trapcode particular or wondertouch particleIllusion. You can also try using fractal noise in AE, but it depends on what kind of fire you are aiming for.

    Do a search in this forum for Fire. You’ll see a lot of info.
