I have just finished cutting a movie trailer for cinema and for internet.
There is no money for an online and colour grade so I am delivering the quicktime direct to client.
As I can’t have an online to check the peaks etc of the luminance levels etc, is there a way in fcp that will make everything legal?

There are a few negative images that flash up for example, and I need to make sure it doesn’t fail a tech review.
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thankyou in advance.
    Dan.

depending on your graphics card the scopes in FCS 3 are very close. That should give you an idea of what’s goin on.
check effects>color correction> Broadcast safe filter
Be aware that “everything” legal would include audio levels. often overlooked

    Thank you for post.
Does that mean I simply select whole of video layer and
    apply effect and render it.
    Cheers,
    Dan
