I can leverage my iPad as a keyword engine feeding FCP X via Lumberjack already.
Nothing wrong with extending the X ecosystem out to allow more types of metadata management in more satellite touchpoints at all.

Not always needing to fire up a full blown desktop NLE to get to work is liberating.
If I can sit on an Airplane in the future and keyword on an IPad – or have a team member send an approval clip to my watch for a thumbs up or thumbs down – I say bring it on.

OK, bring it on, but I still want a decent desk top editing system, with a big screen etc. The point was if Tim goes full iPad, that would screw up desktop editing, but Bill bats 1000% in defense of Apple, so I am calibrated.
