I have often wished to include a map which displays our travel routes into my projects, but have never been able to find maps that are suitable. Maps that I do find either have way too many places displayed or too few places. Sometimes the places you wish to see aren’t on the maps at all.

I was wondering if there is some toll a CD. VD etc where you can
create your own map that allows you to include or exclude places as you wish?

    Thanks in advance

not that I’m aware of. Be cautious using any maps that you purchase; maps are copyrighted too.
Try LOC.gov for links to the archives, etc. There are a lot of old maps from the early 20th century…maybe one will work.
