  Finder’s Fee for original docu-series

  Hey Everyone,

  This question is probably hard to answer, but we’re looking to get an original docu-series to the finish line. Ideally, it would sell as an “original series” (commercial free) on one of the big streamers, or premium networks. It’s almost impossible to get to the big outlets without using a middle-man (bigger production company). We’ve linked up with a guy who has legit connections to such a company. Obviously, this individual would need to be compensated for leading us to a deal, should a deal happen. What is the going rate for something like that? Is it a percentage of our end of the overall sale price? If so, what’s the range of percentage? Is it not as simple as that? I have no experience in this part of the business.
