FinalCut Studio 2 – forgets serial
Every time I launch one of the Final Cut Studio 2 applications, it asks for the name/org/serial # again.
Have I done something wrong in the installation process? Is this a known problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

there is a file HD/Library/Application Support/ProApps/Final Cut Studio System ID
this maybe bad, delete it and hopefully it will only ask you one more time. If this is an upgrade you will need the old serial number also.

That did the trick. Deleted the file, put the serial number in again, now the apps just launch as expected. Much appreciated. Never would have figured that out without some help! These forums are so useful!!
