Not sure if anyone has an answer for this, but I am wondering..I have a bunch of video shot in HD but the final product they want in SD… Is is best to render the HD as an MPEG 2 and then burn as a regular DVD? Or is there a better option than this? (Rendering as HD then burn as a SD???Not sure!)
    Thanks!

What media do they need the video on? If it’s DVD, just render to MPEG2 720×480, which is standard definition. Or one of the other DVD templates under the MPEG2 render dialogue depending on what you have.

Thanks…it is to DVD so I will render to MPEG 2..I just didn’t know if it was better to render to Blu Ray and burn as SD (I didn’t even know if that is possible either)
What you told me is what my instincts were telling me. Thanks!

The fewer steps to get to your final video, the better.

Well your instincts were right. That other method was going an
    unnecessary route.
