Main takeaways –
• He has very specific needs (which arguably are addressed in 10.0.1)
• He see the UI as a “layout layer” and would like that to be fully customizable by the user, connecting to the “plumbing” under the hood
• He hasn’t really tried it, but he’s curious and open and will dig in sometime next month.So guess we’ll have to wait until next month to learn know more about what he really thinks.

His idéa of having a “filemaker of video editors” is something I’ve thought of many times as well. An editor is essentially as he states a relation database and a picture editor. Opening up the database / GUI-section would vasty open up the application for different uses and different user defined “modes” or “views” of the same data.
