Final Cut/Toast/mts files
Hello all,
I’m editing a small project for a non-profit that shot footage on a Canon HG-10 (AVCHD). I asked for the camera and took all the .mts files off of the camera’s internal hard drive and have tried converting them with Toast Titanium 10. So far, the first 10 frames or so of each .mts file is distorted, which is a problem because the video plays seamlessly across multiple .mts files on the camera. Question 1 – does anyone know of a proper way to convert a perfect copy of multiple .mts files OR (question 2) does anyone have a current, functioning work flow to bring footage shot on a consumer AVCHD camcorder into Final Cut? If at all possible, I am trying to avoid playback and capture.
Thank you,
Neal Carter
