    Hi,

I cut a project in 1080 24p HD, XDCAM 23.98 to be specific and now I’d like to export in such a way that I can view it on my PC in full 1080p. What workflow would allow me to do this. I tried using the DVCProHD codec but it wasn’t working for me. Do I have to convert my frame rate before I attempt this? Any would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

If you use the dvcprohd codec out of FCP you can then use DVFilm Raylight Decoder on your PC to read the dvcprohd codec.

    Hope this is helpful,

Chances are your PC would not have nearly the power needed to play that file in its native state at full resolution.

Your best delivery choices would be the h.264 setting for Apple Tv or WMV 9.
