I am new to Final Cut. Is there a setting to make the timeline automatically scroll as it is playing. It is hard to see the indicator when the program is playing. I am moving from Media100 and it automatically scrolls the timeline as it plays back. Am I just missing something?

    Thanks

Sadly, there is no auto scroll feature in FCP…….yet. The workaround is to hit: “shift-page down” (without the quotes) while your timline is playing and that will push the timeline forward one………page I guess.

And you can just grab the timeline scroll box and drag to where you want while you are plaing that time line, it keeps playing.
