could be a bad disc, a scratched disc or a bad drive. Do you have another computer to test out the disc.

will give it a try, this was a brand new disk delivered in New Zealand today, computer makes a buzzing sound as if it trying to read but no go, doesn’t appear to be scratched but will try another computer first.

** just looked at the surface of the Disk it appears to have some sort of marking which appears to be a stain toward the outside? never seen that before, thanx.

Yo Richard! Haven’t heard from you in a while, been too long.

Thanks for buying the DVD… contact the COW about a replacement if you can’t get that one going… I think there will soon be a download if it’s not already up too… But the COW will send you another if that one is bad I’m sure.

It’s good to see the COW is still operating at a high level, I have been sorting myself out creatively and am sort of kind of back on track 🙂 good to see you are still involved and I love the presentation of your DVD. It works on my old tower, on my partners new iMac but not on my 17″ MacBook Pro, go figure. I will persevere, maybe it will magically pop open. Anyhow I love the content and that’
s the most important part. Talk soon, Richard.

    BTW
Richard, I sometimes get the same problem on my wife’s new MacBook Pro.
I wonder if it has to do with Snow Leopard? My other computers are using Leopard. Best of luck.

thanks for that John, it did cross my mind, my tower is not an intel and it plays fine on the old OSX, my laptop is10.6.4, bummer. Hope all is well, Richard.
