Final Cut Studio wont update!
I was trying to update my funal cut studio yesterday on apples update site ( https://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/download/ ) and when i went to type in my serial number, red text appeard that said “You appear to have already downloaded the Final Cut Studio update.” I never have! Anyone know a way around this?

What version? Upgrading from 5.0.x to 5.1.x requires a crossgrade via disk.
Have you tried software update?

Yeah ive tried software update. and returns bay saying my software is up to date. I go an check the versions still fcp 5.0 and so on. all of the programs are the same version as the day i installed them.

Which version of FCP are you running?
5.1 is the new universal version not an update.
You have probably reached the last update of your installed versionCheers
