final cut studio serial number question?
One of my friends has a problem with their FCS 3 suite.
They ended up sharing the suite with two people, one person installed the suite with the serial codes on the box, the other person with a generic serial code off the internet, (from one of the torrent sites I believe).
Now my friend has gone to open their FCS, and it’s asking to re-enter the serial code. I was wondering if anybody has experienced anything similar to this before, and if they would have any advice for my friend.

Tell your “friend” to navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Pro Apps and delete Final Cut Pro Studio System ID.
This will delete the previously entered serial number, also tell your friend to buy a second FCS3 serial and don’t use serials off the internet.
