Final Cut Studio install issues
Hi – I had to reformat my MacBook Pro (It has Leopard – 10.5.8) and reinstall all my applications. This included Final Cut Studio 2.
It seemed to work at first and I entered my serial number and related liscening information.
I can open some of the Final Cut Studio applications like Final Cut Pro, Color, Motion. However, Soundtrack Pro and Compressor don’t recognize the serial number at all.
1. Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening?
2. Also, there does not seem to be a way to uninstall and re-install Final Cut Studio. Does anyone have a suggestion?Thanks a lot! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

But before you do that, try moving the FCP system ID out of it’s folder and re-enter the serial number to see if you can’t fix it that way. It’s in MacHD/Library/Application Support/Pro Apps/Final Cut Studio System ID Move the ID file out and keep it if you need to put it back or something.
