Final Cut Studio Academic uninstall
I have the Academic version of FC Studio 5.0.1 and uninstalled it as per Apple’s instructions. I then installed the new 5.1 retail upgrade (non-Academic) and when I launched it the app showed as still being the Academic version and serial number.
Is there any way to do a CLEAN uninstall of the Academic version?

Trash the FCP System ID in Library>Application Support>ProApps
