    Hey, I can’t seem to get past square one. My hard disk went bad so I had it replaced now I can’t log and transfer my video to final cut. I can see it and drag it to the queue and it says clips are queued but when I click on them in the status area it shows a stop sign with a exclamation point in it and it says there is no data. I had this same problem when I originally loaded final cut and it’s driving me crazy. Oh yea and it also says that the queued clips are idle.

    I have run into this problem when the hard drive containing the raw footage is connected by USB … the problem clears up as soon as I connect via Firewire … not sure this will help, but that’s one of the weird workarounds that has helped me …
