Any inside scoop or general hunches when we will all see FCP Studio 3? The only info I have heard is either in January or in April.

The only people who really know cannot say for fear of severe beatings. The only thing the rest of us can do is guess. Past history indicates that releases come out near NAB, which happens in April. But since Apple is not going to NAB, that puts that date in question too.

Hopefully when they do their native AVCHD support is solid.

I am expecting it to come out “after” the new OS comes out though. It makes more sense to me that way.

Hey Shane – is your response a “cut ‘n paste” or do you have to manually type it each time?

What would I do without the ‘UNDO’ button!!!!

Funny how many people can’t use the Search function of this forum. So many people ask the same question and we just have to give the same answer.

Actually I decided to skip Studio 3 and have decided to play with Studio 4 instead. I love the new click wheel functions that were incorporated……

They go well with the new MacBook Click that came out…the one that did away with the keyboard.

Yes, I typed this out. But I have many many MANY cut/paste answers. Thus Shane’s Stock Answers…

And just WAIT until you see Studio 4 run on the iPhone! It’s so nice not to need that really heavy MacBook Air anymore on the plane to edit. Wooooooo!

Is that the iPhone with the Pinapple Logo on startup? If so, I am good to go… just need a reason to jump on a plane now….

The best place to find rumors like this are appleinsider.com and the general tech blogs (Engadget and Gizmodo). You’re not going to find any inside scoop here.
